I earned a B.A. in Advertising, School of Journalism, from Pennsylvania State University, with a concentration in creative writing in 1984, and a M.Ed. in Reading Education from North Carolina State University in 2002. I'm a reading specialist in the public schools in addition to enjoying photography and art. I'm also a member of the Sappony tribe (www.sappony.org).
