Sadly, Max, my little man, passed away March 28, 2008 from multiple myeloma. While his body is under the redbud trees, sassafras and daffodils in my back yard, I hope his spirit is happily chasing squirrels and chewing his biscuit ball on the other side. He was a wonderful friend and companion for our family for ten years. I love you, Maxie. My friend, my companion, my familiar, my little man. Rub belly, Maxie, rub belly.
